Arrival, meet greet and proceed to Pinnawala.


Pinnawala Elephant orphanage is one of the largest Elephant captive in the world. The Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage was started in 1975 by the Department of Wildlife on a twenty five acre coconut property on the Maha Oya River at Rambukkana. The orphanage was primarily designed to afford care and protection to the many baby elephants found in the jungle without their mothers. 

Depending on the time, you will be able to see some daily activities such as, bottle feeding to the baby elephants and all herd bathing in the River Maha Oya.


After lunch proceed to Dambulla

Visit  Historical city of Anuradhapura .

This city is one of the principal shrines of Buddhism. Apart the number of historical ruins, you'll be able to see the world oldest living human planted tree which is called "Sri Maha Bodhi" a cutting from the "tree of enlightenment".  The two main dagebas which is called Jethawanaramaya, Abhayagiriya are amongst the biggest architectural creations ever attempted in the ancient world, surpassed in size only by the pyramids at Giza.


After lunch visit Mihinthale


Mihintale is where Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka. Mihintale is regarded as the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. The rock is riddled with shrines and rock dwellings. A grand stairway of 1,840 steps made out of granite slabs of 15' wide leads to the summit from where one could get a splendid view of the surrounding countryside.

Visit Polonnaruwa Heritage city (By Bike - Optional)


Visit Polonnaruwa which is a world heritage site and the 2nd capital city of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th centuries AD. See the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Gal Viharaya where four splendid statues of the Buddha in 'Upright', 'Sedentary' and 'Recumbent' postures carved out of rock, the Audience Hall, the Lotus Bath, the statue of king Parakramabahu, and the Parakrama Samudraya - a lake built by King Parakramabahu. There are also monuments of famous places of worship such as the Shiva Temple, the Lankathilake, the Watadage, the Galpotha, the Kiri Vehera and the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Visit Sigiriya Rock fortress


Visit Sigiriya (Rock fortress) Sigiriya, The Lion Rock, was a rock fortress and royal palace complex of the 5th century created by king Kasyapa. This is one of the most impressive landscapes of the Sri Lanka which is a massive and steep column of rock nearly 200 meters high surrounded by scrub jungle. Along the pathway you come across massive gardens that once were a part of the castle. This consists of water gardens: an elaborate network of water pavilions, pools with pebbled marble floors, courtyards and water courses. The garden of Sigiriya is among the oldest landscaped gardens in the world.


Visit Dambulla cave temple


The Dambulla Rock Cave Temple is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. This is an outstanding example of the religious art and expression of Sri Lanka which is covering area of 2,100 m2 Buddhist mural paintings. The excavated shrine-caves, their painted surfaces and statuary are unique in scale and degree of preservation

Peradeniya Botanical Garden


Peradeniya Garden is situated 6 km away from Kandy city which is bordering to Mahaveli River. This garden cover 60ha (150 acres) area of trees, lawns and flowering shrubs, including a 20-ha (50-acre) arboretum of more than 10,000 trees.

There are extensive well-kept lawns, an Orchid House containing an outstanding collection, an Octagon Conservatory, fernery, banks of giant bamboo from Burma and numerous flower borders with cannas, hibiscus, chrysanthemums, croton and colorful bougainvillea. The tank has water plants including the giant water lily and papyrus reeds. You will also see exotic species, especially palms (Palmyra, talipot, royal, and cabbage), Ficus elastica (latex-bearing fig or 'Indian rubber tree' with buttress roots), an amazing avenue of drunken-looking Cook's Pines and some magnificent old specimen trees.


In the evening visit Temple of Tooth


The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a temple which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of The Buddha. This is the most sacred Buddhist shrine in the world. It is venerated not only by Buddhists in Sri Lanka but by Buddhists all over the world.   It was built within the royal palace complex which houses the one of the two surviving relic of the tooth of Buddha, an object of veneration for Buddhists.

The ‘’Thevawa ceremony’’ which starts around 6:30 pm. At this time crowds gather to offer flowers and prayers to the sacred relic in the inner sanctum and the temple drummers are in full swing – a magical experience

Proceed to Adams Peak via Hatton

The 2243 metre peak has a great significance for various different religions.  Buddhists believe the footprint on the summit is that of Buddha; Hindus hold it to be the mark of Shiva; Muslims are convinced it is that of Adam, who wept after the loss of Eden (whereby the mountain got its name); and some Christians believe the indentations were caused when St.Thomas, Christ's Apostle who came East, prayed at the peak. As a result, the mountain peak has been a pilgrimage centre for over 1000 years. Whatever its religious significance, this famous landmark offers some breathtaking views of the hill country and an enchanting wilderness sanctuary. The majority of climbers begin their ascent at night in order to arrive at the top in time for a magical sunrise when the mystical shadow of the peak is perfectly cast across the clouds.

City tour at Nuwaraeliya


Nuwara Eliya, "The City of Lights," is the highest town in Sri Lanka and that means a break from the oppressive heat and humidity that surrounds the rest of the country. Situated at around 2000m above sea level and surrounded by lush tea plantations. This city with an elevation of 6200 meters is the highest in Sri Lanka. Once a pleasure retreats of the European planters the town is still very much an English town with many English style bungalows and buildings.


After Lunch Visit Tea Factory.


Sri Lanka is famous for its Ceylon tea and on this Sri Lanka tea tour you'll have the chance to taste this well known brew and learn all about how it is made. Tea is made from the small leaves or tips that grow on bushes in this region of Sri Lanka and, in the hills between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, there are tea bushes as far as the eye can see. On this tea tour, you'll visit factory road where you can follow the process from fresh leaves to dried tea in all its varying qualities.

Visit Horton Plains.


This is an amazing hiking experience in one of most beautiful, strange place in Sri Lanka. Horton Plains is an undulating plateaus of about 2200m high, covers by wild grassland with some patches of thick forest, rocky outcrops and waterfalls. The plateau comes to a sudden end with a stunning view that drops straight down about 900m. This place famously know as World's End.

The Highland Queen leaves from Nanu Oya Railway Station for a spectacular journey through the Hill Country. There are lovely views of waterfalls and tea estates among the glorious scenery of the Great Western mountain range.

Visit Rawana Ella
The Ravana Ella (Ravana Falls) is one of the most visited waterfall in Sri Lanka. Rawana Fall which is about 25m high and cascade from an oval shaped concave rock outcrop. This popular falls has its roots connected to the famous Indian epic, the Ramayana. According to the ancient stories, it is said that after kidnapping Sita, Ravana, the king of Sri Lanka had hidden her at the caves behind this waterfall. The cave came to be known as Ravana Ella cave. 

Visit Buduruwagala Temple. The name Buduruwagala means “the rock with the statue of Buddha” and this is exactly what it is. Seven figured are carved in this rock with a massive 51 foot Buddha statue. The rock itself has shape of a kneeling elephant with its head own.

After the Lunch, do a safari of the Yala National Park.

Yala National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka and also known as the highest concentration of leopard in the world. Apart from leopards, you can see number of animals such as elephants, sloth bear, sambar and spotted deer, jackal, mongoose, wild boar, wild buffaloes, Jaguar and macaque monkeys.

 Yala is also a wonderful destination to see the wide verity of birds.  There are around 130 species of birds that have been spotted here including black necked stork, sandpipers, pelicans, egrets, hoopoes, parakeets and bulbuls.

Visit  Singharaja Rain forest 


SINHARAJA RAIN FOREST is another paradise for hiking which is one of the world leading bio diversity hotspot.  Sinharaja is the biggest forest in Sri Lanka which home to a large number of endemic species including birds, butterflies. This is also named as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Visit Galle city


The Galle Dutch Fort is a rare historical jewel protected by dark, thick stone walls – with the endless ocean on one side. The roads inside the Galle Fort have hardly changed, like the squares on a chess board crisscrossing in regular patches. Straight and narrow lanes branch in and out inviting the visitor to a delightful walk into the 17th century. Ancient monuments within this historical complex included the Lighthouse, the clock tower, the first Dutch Reformed and Anglican churches, the Meera Mosque, the Buddhist Temple, and the Commander’s Residence. Worthy of mention is the Dutch Reformed Church with its baroque facade and the usual double scroll mouldings on its gables which testify to indigenous influence. The military architecture of the Fort is European in design. The unique Galle Fort is still the best preserved fortified city in South Asia.

Hikkaduwa Coral garden visit by boat


Hikkaduwa, a popular tourist destination in the Galle District is renowned for it's beach and the corals. The Coral Garden here is considered to be the best out of all such coral gardens found in Asia. There is a reef of lime stones running parallel to the coast. The corals are in between this line of lime stones and the coast. The sea up to about 200 m from the coast is very shallow. The reef of lime stones protects the corals from high tide. The coral type found mostly here is the type locally called "Gampara". These corals are found in various forms , shapes and colours. They are a very fascinating sight especially when there is bright sunlight which gives a very clearer view of the corals. You see some corals in the shape of a cabbage leaf; some are like a lady's fan. Since there is no silt, corals can grow in their natural form and colour.


Proceed to Benthota

Relax and enjoy rest of the day under the sun at one of most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka. If you’re interesting for sea bathing, this is an ideal and safe place because for the shallow water.

Colombo is the capital and main commercial city of Sri Lanka. This is a busy and vibrant place with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and ruin. The Fort is the very center of the city where most of the colonial remnants, mainly from the British era are still to be found.

Apart from that, there are many shopping option in Colombo to by clothing, footwear and lots more for very affordable price.
